Yule is the natural changing of the season from the darkening of the days to the rebirth of the light. In this piece I have the large old sun as setting into the dark wood and the new sun, in my spirituality the child of promise, ascendent above. This sculpture was created for Yule of 2023 and is brought out every year around that time.
